Can I test my program without real payments?+
Yes. Connect a Stripe Sandbox or test mode next to your live account, flip the environment switch, and run the whole flow (click, signup, payment, refund, payout) with test cards. Test data never mixes with live numbers or reaches your partners.
We use Rewardful today. How hard is it to switch?+
Swap the script URL and the API base URL. Tandem understands the same rewardful() calls, the same data-rewardful forms and the same REST endpoints. The importer copies your campaigns, affiliates, links, referrals and commissions using read-only API calls.
How do you know a customer was referred?+
Our script stores the referral in a first-party cookie. You pass it to Stripe as the Checkout client_reference_id or customer metadata, and Tandem follows that customer's invoices, refunds and disputes. Personal coupon codes attribute customers even without a click.
How are partners paid?+
Commissions become payable after the hold period you choose. Tandem groups them per partner, checks the minimum payout, and gives you ready-to-upload PayPal or Wise files. Mark them paid and partners are notified.
Does it work without a public webhook URL?+
Yes. Besides webhooks, Tandem polls Stripe's event log every minute, so local development, firewalled setups and webhook outages don't lose a single commission.
